The Aurora Borealis, aka the Northern Lights are an absolute must-see for any lover of travel and you can experience the magic in Iceland.

The best times to see the turquoise magic in the night sky you should visit from September to April. But the start of the year, is not ideal, as poor weather often prevents the best conditions to get a glimpse of this breath-taking phenomenon.

Experience Fall in Transylvania, Romania

Halloween is the absolute best time to take a trip to Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle in central Romania. During this spooky time of year, the castle holds incredible events, such as a themed dinner, to celebrate the most famous vampire that ever “lived”.

Experience Fall in England, Great Britain

The best time to visit England in the Fall is around November 5th as the country celebrates Guy Fawkes Night.

This special night rejoices the failed plot, in 1605, of a man and his rebel group in blowing up the Houses of Parliament. All the major cities and many towns, organise family friendly festivities, a spectacular firework display and a giant bonfire to burn a figure of Guy Fawkes.

Our favourite city is Lewes in East Sussex as they have an epic parade, where people wear medieval costumes.

Experience Fall in Berlin, Germany

The last day of Fall, officially, is December 20th. So, you have plenty of time to experience the many Christmas markets available in Berlin. Germany is famous for its love of Christmas. As well, as its shopping experience, German sausages, tasty gingerbread and themed crafts, Berlin offers much more.

Our favourite markets are Gendarmenmarkt (open November 24 – December 31) and Potsdamer Platz (open November 24 – December 26).
