Look, we’re starting off strong with Las Vegas, because… well, is there anything you can’t do in Sin City?

Whilst you may only know Las Vegas as a tacky, sticky city with the tagline ‘what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas’ 😳, that’s not all there is to it. Whilst it may well be the perfect city to party in, you don’t have to go all out, try a relaxing spa weekend in a swanky hotel, or trawl the boulevard’s for bright lights and entertainment, and win big in the casinos if you’re lucky enough. Chicago

With Lake Michigan to look out onto and dip your toes into, the Skydeck to get an impeccible view of the city, and Millenium Park to picnic in, who could resist? Indy might not be as popular as other cities in the US, but we think it’s hiding a good time behind its coy smile. New Orleans

In fact, if you want a raucous party, you need to head there in time for its world-famous Mardi-Gras festival, where you can even bring your own costumes. This is the city that claims they invented the cocktail too, so it’s definitely the spot to try your favorite alcoholic mix, and, once you’re done with all the drinking and dancing, it’ll be time to wander the old-school, brightly colored streets and take in that New Orleans flare in all its glory.

Avalon, Catalina Island

Our final pick is Avalon, Catalina Island, one of SoCal’s favorite islands just an hour south ferry ride from Los Angeles (quick fun fact that could be very helpful by the way… the ferry is free on your birthday, so choose your dates well!).

This is the perfect weekend trip for any group of ladies who want to feel like they’ve headed to Europe, with this Mediterranean style island full of European influences wherever you look.
